TV show coming to Redneck Olympics

Hey all!

I am the director of a webbased TV show called "Backyard Einstein". http://www.backyardeinstein.com.

My host and I will be out in East Dublin from July 3rd thru the 6th, and were wondering if anyone would be able to maybe show us around (via emails of course).

We want to shoot real American rednecks and their cool inventions. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Just a quick thank you to Bill and Ryan for coming out and visiting us. I do know they were both impressed with the hospitality they received during their visit and wanted to express their appreciation to everyone.

Those of you who missed out on the oppurtunity will be in for a treat when they get their program on the air.

One story I will share happened Thursday night after they arrived. Those of us who were born and bred or lived in the south for a while know the love we have for our boiled peanuts. Well... we discovered that Bill and Ryan had never tried this southern delicacy. A quick trip to the nearest convenience store and we served them up a large cup of boiled peanuts. Bill and Ryan both really enjoyed the peanuts but it quickly became apparent that getting them away from Ryan proved a bit difficult.

The funniest part was when one of the ladies told Ryan that the he could eat the entire peanut if the shell is soft. Ryan in his excitement quickly ate a boiled peanut , not paying attention to the words "shell is soft". She then explained in a bit more detail about the "soft shell", Ryan stated "Well, I got my fiber for today" and continued eatting the peanuts without missing a beat.

Hey all!

We just cannot say enough good things about the people of Dublin Georgia! Dan, Kay, Lewis and Bren were the most amazing and giving people we've ever met on the road. Not just the boiled peanuts, but the places they took us to, and people they introduced us to, were amazing.

Thanks so much Dan and the rest of the gang. We will post here when we get our videos edited and up on the site.

P.S. If you all haven't heard, a local 11 year old boy named Ricky Taylor had a horrible accident at this years games. Please do what you can to help this young man. Backyard Einstein has already sent some money, and we hope if you can't send him money, at least send him some good energy and your prayers.
